Learn to knit or crochet a bag and how to felt it, block it and finish it. This will be the sturdiest carrier in your closet! patterns provided. Bring size 8, 9 or 10 24-inch circular needles or Size H crochet hook and your choice of felting yarn (Patons or Lion brand). Felting yran must be 100% untreated wool.

Thursday September 9 and September 16 Would you like to make something fun and easy for a Christmas gift or even just for yourself? Come in and learn how to make crocheted placemats. They are fun and easy to make. This class is for all levels.
Supplies needed for this class: Four skeins of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn (sample was made with Sugar'n Cream, 2 main color and 2 contrasting) and a size F crochet hook.

Beginners-Advanced
Learn A Pastime for a Lifetime
Learn it all---from basic stitches to advanced and special techniques, how to follow and troubleshoot patterns, and even American “Freedom Stitch” method of how to make anything by building shapes with your stitches---Hats and bags, shopping totes, sweat bands, Q-hook afghans, shawls, bath sets, passport holders, lanyards and even how to crochet preemie hats or GI helmet beanies. Everybody learns to make something to wear or share. A selection of patterns provided.
The focus for September will be making hats and green bags without a pattern. Students will be provided with the "recipe".

Create stunning beaded beads using dimensional right angle weave. Each beaded bead can be unique, depending on their contents. You have a multitude of options! However you use them - in necklace, or bracelets or even as earings - these creations will open up new beading horizons. This is a good introduction to both flat right andgle weave and 3-D right angle weave.
All you needs is a pair of scissors and a spirit of adventure!
