Do you want to take amazing photos of your family and your life?  Are you unsure about what your camera can do?  Are you considering making the change from a digital point and shoot camera to a digital SLR camera?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this class is for you!  Come join Tricia Gray from Canon to learn the basics about digital photography.  During the course of the class, you will be creating your own "How To" book that will include your own photos to use as a guide in your photography adventures.  A sample of the topics covered in class includes shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.  We will discuss how these three aspects of photography all work together to make a fantastic photo.  We will discuss the different modes that can be used in different situations to take fantastic photos easily.  We will also discuss eight ideas for excellent composition that will help you take interesting photos that really tell a story.  Excellent photos help to make excellent scrapbook pages, so come join us for Digital Photography SLR Basics.

Supply List: your camera - preferably SLR, but point and shoot cameras are also allowed, your camera manual, paper trimmer, scissors , adhesive of your choice, liquid adhesive such as Zip Dry or glue dots, black fine tip marker Optional supplies: black Staz-on Ink and Prussian Blue Color Box Ink

Join Candice every Tuesday evening for an information session on what you need to get started in scrapbooking. She will go over the basic supplies needed, basic techniques and demos for several popular tools and accessories. Class includes a small demo project.
