This is a “Prima-Endorsed” class

In this class, we will be playing with Prima paintables, Luminarte paints (Twinkling H2Os and Radiant Rain), Cardboard, Distress inks, sparklies, lace and flowers. These layouts will be done “Donna~style” combining glamour and grunge into fun and funky eclectic and artistic layouts. Donna will be teaching you how to make her “signature” vintage scallop paper flowers, how to quickly and easily customize your paintable paper to match your photos and how to use non-traditional items on your layouts and we'll even be using some "really real" artist's tools and supplies in this class! :)

Bonus Project: Card Buffet

You will have access to Donna's HUGE supply of Prima paper, flowers, leaves, lace, etc...

Supplies that you will need to bring: Adhesives: Tape runner, liquid glue (Art Glitter-Designer Dries Clear strongly suggested) Paper trimmer, Paper Piercer, Scissors Optional:Edge distresser, Distress Ink pads, brads, stapler, sand paper/file

Remember the fun we all had with pinwheels? Well. Now you can make them yourself and add them to the front of your cards or gifts.  All supplies included !!!

It’ll answer all those questions that are holding you back. It’s Easy, really! Just bring 3 photos!

• I’ll show you how to get started.
• Tell you the basic things you’ll need and how to use them.
• I’ll help you select an album and paper.
• I’ll show you how to crop pictures and how to adhere them on your page.
• And the real fun part… how to embellish your page!

This class is perfect for advanced crochet or knitters, but even beginners are welcome!  Bev will help you with any question or challenge as you work with your project.  Some of the advanced techniques she can cover include: how to use variegated yarn properly to get a pattern (or to avoid the design); knitting from the neck down so the garment is one piece raglan style; how to finish the project so it doesn’t look homemade; how to follow patterns; how to change a pattern (ex: V neck to cardigan); special stitches such as cables, purling, lace, crochet trims, and more.  Fee is for instruction; please bring/purchase your supplies.

Kids love to draw animals! Join us as we learn to draw a variety of animals found in a zoo. We will draw giraffes, zebras, lions, tigers, birds and more.  Our final day will result in one large scene of the zoo, divided into several habitats and incorporating the many animal friends we have learned to draw. Do you love animals? Join us for a trip through the zoo as we learn to cartoon a variety of animals. We will learn cartoon expressions, movement, exaggeration, sequencing to tell a joke while drawing giraffes, elephants, bears, monkeys and more.
